Today is the day I join the world of technology.  Won't my children be impressed!

I have been encouraged by friends through the years to journal but have never been successful at persisting through the periods of life when nothing seems to be noteworthy.  I am hoping that this world of "blogging" will be the impetus I need to persevere.  So if anyone actually reads this besides me, just know that I am a mother with no children at home and am seeking ways to fill my time and opportunities to leave the world a better place than I found it.... even in some small way.
